International Supervisor

What you will do?

As International Onsite Supervisor you will be responsible for supervising and installing complete Parcel sortation and conveyor systems in the logistic market. We design, build and test the machines in the Netherlands, but you will install them all over Europe. In cooperation with a local team that you manage, you are responsible for the effective installation within time and budget. You have a proactive, hands-on attitude and you ensure that production, quality and safety standards are met and adhered to during the installation process. You will have an intensive and open line of communication with the organization in the Netherlands regarding progress, technical issues and areas for improvement and recording additional work and cost savings. In addition, you report to our customers on progress and activities on site in collaboration with your project manager.

Who are you and what do you bring?

You don’t mind traveling a lot and spending long periods abroad. In addition, you have a hands-on mentality and can work interculturally.

• You can work well independently but also in a team;
• You have persuasiveness and are always solution oriented.
• Mechanical/ Electrical training (HBO Mechatronica, HBO Werktuigbouwkunde)
• Proficient in the Dutch and English language (in word and on paper)
• Proficient with Word, Excel and 3d model navigation.
• No 9 to 5 work mentality
• Customer satisfaction, high work quality, never settling for less, teamwork and

problem solving should be second nature.

• Relevant work experience in the “Machinebouw” and/or “Installatietechniek”
• Always looking for a challenge and how to improve.
• Working at different clients at home and abroad.
• Taking lead of a team of local mechanics and with the backup from the office, taking responsibility and achieving a successful installation while keeping within the boundaries set beforehand.
